I actually tried to paint the frame myself, and did an absolute shitter of a job!!! I think I've mentioned before that I'm no painter. I stripped back to bare metal the mess that I made and coated it with a phosphoric solution to kill any residual rust and protect the metal under the paint. |

A friend of mine makes fine quality furniture and has all the equipment for spraying, including a special spray booth. Here is Agapios applying the polyurethane primer. |

This is the frame after the final black coat. After learning a lot from Agapios, I think I would be a little more confidant in spray painting some parts. I'll still let him do the tank though! |
